TNS factory manufacture by New York Mets for P4 LED digital signage
TNS factory has been tapped by the New York Mets professional basketball team to install digital signage in stadium environments, according to a press release.
The New York Mets partnership included installing a 3 D anamorphic, two-sided LED display in the stadium concourse, which was first unveiled in March, along with a string of installations including the to-date largest LED scoreboard in professional baseball at Citi Field, digital signage in stores, digital menu boards for concessions, and digital billboards for advertising throughout the venue.
"We are showcasing the next phase in our amazing partnership with TNS's and continuing our mission to transform the fan experience via digital display technology," Oscar Fernandez, SVP of technology for the New York Mets, said in the release. "We started this joint effort three years ago to enhance the fan experience at Citi Field. Fast forward to today and we now have a refreshed rotunda with new LED ribbons throughout the seating bowl, large format display TVs, 1,300 displays throughout the stadium and the biggest scoreboard in the MLB to connect with fans and bring them closer to the action on the field."
The project comes on the heels of last year's partnership between TNS's and the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Stadium, which included installing a 300-square-foot scoreboard nicknamed "El Grande," which is a component of a larger video board featuring 5.3 million LEDs, along with a smaller digital scoreboard and 450 square feet of LED ribbon displays.
